Full Service
Our Full Service includes Ultrasonic Cleaning, Polishing, Steam Cleaning and Buffing, giving your ring, bracelet or earrings back their original shine and sparkle, and ensuring that they will look as good as new whilst retaining their integrity for a lifetime. Starting at £90 for a Platinum, Palladium, Yellow or Rose Gold ring, and £130 for a White Gold ring, we can give your precious jewellery a new lease of life.
White Gold servicing includes rhodium plating.
Goldsmiths
Jewellery collects dirt and loses its shine through everyday wear and can get scratched or scuffed through daily activities. Jewellery containing diamonds or precious stones needs special treatment due to it being difficult to remove the dirt collected around the stone.
Performed by our talented goldsmiths, cleaning, polishing and buffing is perfectly safe for your jewellery.
How we service your jewellery
Jewellery cleaning is a specialist process that requires experienced goldsmiths to carefully remove the dirt that collects around the metal and precious stones, and polish off marks caused by everyday wear.
Your jewellery is in the safe hands of our talented goldsmiths who can successfully clean and service your engagement ring, wedding band, necklace/pendant, and earrings.
There are a handful of techniques that we use to make your jewellery look stunning and give it a new lease of life.
Polishing and buffing
Our polishing wheels are specifically made for the polishing of jewellery and are equipped with varying grades of hard and soft grain polishing finishes.
The process focuses on the metal part of your jewellery and the different grades allow us to polish out the biggest or even the tiniest scratch on the metal. This is what gives your precious metal its gleam and sparkle!
Laser Filling
For deeper scuffs or damage, we are able to use one of our state-of-the-art laser welding machines to effectively melt new metal into the void.
This can be a timely process but one that lessens the need to remake or replace a damaged piece of jewellery.
Ultrasonic Cleaning
Following any filling or polishing, your jewellery will then go into an ultrasonic cleaner. Our jewellery grade cleaner uses ultrasonic waves to remove dirt, grease, grime and polishing particles from the deepest crevices of your jewellery. This process is what will deep clean your jewellery.
The smooth surface of a diamond undoubtedly traps dirt and grease which over time will make it look dull and lifeless. The ultrasonic cleaner restores your diamond to life and gives it that incredible sparkle it once had!
Some precious gemstones cannot be exposed to ultrasonic waves. Please contact us to discuss how we can best clean your precious gemstone jewellery.
Steam Cleaning
This final process involves using high pressured bursts of heated steam to clean out any fragments of dirt or polishing agents that remain on your jewellery, while at the same time sterilising the item ready for wear.
